Bell ringers

My equally crazed group of friends and I had been plotting all sorts of fun and games for our friend Tracy's 50th birthday. You may recall the handbell blip a couple of weeks ago.
Well, as part of our monthly lunch meet-up, which we had decreed was dress code like a day at the races,we surprised the birthday girl, who was almost prostrate with laughter, with a rendition of happy birthday and the theme from Eastenders. The union Jacks werea bit of extra amusement as it was Jubilee week, and in fact , in the evening, at the restaurant, we surprised the assembled company with God Saved the Queen, again on the handbells.
