Eilean Mor MacCormick

I was lucky enough to visit Eilean Mor one of the largest MacCormick Islands today. Located at the southern end of Loch Sween and Sound of Jura so some stunning scenery and a very pleasant boat ride from Tayvallich. I've included a few extras.
This blip looks over to Jura and is one of three monuments on the Island. It's a replica of the 14th century cross which has been housed in one of the Edinburgh museums since the 1930s.
There is a small visitors centre on the island and we were made very welcome.
This was Coopers first journey on a boat and I think it's fair to say he found his sea legs. He seemed to love running around on the island and as the resident sheep were away on their summer holidays I was fairly confident that he would only find a tennis ball to chase!
The flag is that of the island although there was a saltire flying too.
