An Interesting Walk

Fergus and I walked from home to the Taylor River this morning. We differed our walking route and stuck to what I call the middle sections of the Taylor River Floodway. It is a popular area for dog walkers. We met up with 18 other dogs and their owners during our hour long walk. Here Fergus is investigating an interesting smell.
A friend came by to sweep our chimney today. Well, it is called a flue. He is really expert and got the job done in a few minutes. We have had the wood burner going most days since late autumn and the flue certainly needed a clean. The fire is shining brightly tonight.
