3d...

...printing and this the latest addition to neighbour S's workplace.
He 3d printed the 'arms/brackets' holding the spool of material that is threaded through the little back box where it is heated and then printed out on the black square base...how cool is that!
S is an architect and designs the most beautiful and functional schools and additions to schools and gorgeous houses.
Aesthetically and environmentally suited to their setting and climate, when!!! I win lotto he would be my first choice to design a simple and perfect home.

Very clever and still can't quite get my head around how this all happens especially the prospect of 'printing' food ! This being experimented with to make the 'mulched' vegetables required by those who cannot chew and swallow food stuffs more acceptable.
The idea is to present suitably prepared foodstuffs with the required consistency in the form of the original food...ie a carrot looks like a carrot and not an orange dollop plonked on a plate!
