Goldfinch

I've (somewhat reluctantly) "played truant" from Tiny Tuesday today as a rather nice other blippertunity presented itself this morning.

I mentioned in Sunday's blip (here) that the goldfinches were partial to the cornflower seeds. Well this morning I spotted three of them having their breakfast together! I couldn't get a good shot of all three as they weren't good at posing together, but I captured a couple of shots of them on their own. The other one is in today's extras, along with a shot of two together at different distances. The photos aren't quite as good as I'd hoped as they had to be taken through the window or they'd have flown off immediately, but I thought they were still worth blipping :)
