Willow garden

I drive past this view on the way to work and back every day - and I like the square of stones in the middle distance. At first it looks like a fank for gathering sheep but actually it is an old walled enclosure where crofters used to grow willow trees which were coppices (trimmed) for the branches and then used to make baskets, creels and so on. I like the old technology and the new technology side-by-side.
