Honey Bee

After what I considered moderate success with my Bumble Bee the other day I was tempted to have a go at the Honey bees.  The Thalictrum aquilegifolium is in full bloom.  Sorry I am not used to a common name for it its varietal name is "Purple Cloud" and I have discovered while trying to find a common name it is a form of Meadow Rue and a member of the Ranunculaceae the same group as Buttercups.

The Honey Bees are even worse than the Bumbles for not sitting still for the camera.  However I am quite pleased with this one.  Notice the full pollen baskets on the hind legs.  They appeared to be mainly collecting pollen from the Thalictrum.
