more babies : )

I was surprised to discover several tiny ducklings this evening! This is a photo of one of them with mom : ) The extra photo is how the mom led me to her babies. At first I thought the female duck was injured because it seemed to be stuck in the deep grass, but it was simply guarding the ducklings.

p.s. I'm watching the US v. Germany Women's World Cup Soccer/Football game right now and it's quite stressful!

p.p.s. The US Women's Soccer Team had advanced to the finals!!!
