Venus and Jupiter

For the last couple of weeks I have been watching these two planets appearing closer together each night. It's been facinating! Tonight they are at their closest. (Venus is the bigger)

We are back in Alameda. We left Paso around midday and the outside temperature was over 100 degrees F! It's a lot cooler here!
