Venus and Jupiter...

a mere one half degree apart in the night sky. This is the closest that they will be until August of 2016. Tempting to zoom in on them but I prefer the wide angle view, kayaks in the strip of light to the right and the bright planets shining upon each other in the left. It was a beautiful warm evening here in the northwest.
