Moonrise at Bassenthwaite

A very calm and warm evening and a clear sky with a big moon giving lovely reflections on the lake.

I took a visit to the lake at 10:30. The water was really warm. I waded out in my flip flops and just hung around for a while. It was so quiet and peaceful. A few swans were relaxing near me but no one else was around.
