Beer garden

Whilst I'm still unable to participate in our walks, I did meet my friends for a drink after the walk today.  Actually, seeing how hot and flustered they looked on what was a very hot and humid day, I was actually quite glad I missed it!!!  (Just read that today was England's hottest day on record).  This arrangement of flowers at the pub caught my eye - I did have better quality photos, but this made me smile.

Saw this quote by Rachel Caine that I thought was apt:
'God, it was hot!  Forget about frying an egg on the sidewalk; this kind of heat would fry an egg inside the chicken.'
