Ox-eye daisies

I went out in the garden early to do a bit of tidying up but was beaten back as the thermometer climbed to 34 degrees.  Admitting defeat, I resigned myself to reading my book and watching the tennis!  I did receive a call saying I would be needed for cover all day Friday so I did not feel too guilty
