Keeping cool.....

I popped across the road from the hospital early this morning after my night shift finished to the university grounds.  The gardener had the sprinkler out on the lawns and when he saw me eyeing up the flowers with my camera in hand he offered to give them a quick water to leave some water drops.  What a kind man and so very proud of his beautiful plants.  He did tell me the Latin name for these pretty daisies but there was no chance of me remembering!

I'm finished my run of nights now thank goodness ans it has been so difficult to sleep and the hospital and our office in particular has been unbearably hot.  I feel so sorry for the patients who are so uncomplaining about it.
