Implant

Today I had an implant put in to replace a missing tooth.  I have an 8mm screw in my jaw with a temporary protective cap, with the gum stitched back around it.  Yuck.

Still another 10 weeks or so until I can expect it to be healed and the crown made and fitted.

This has been a LONG process.

Sorry for the gross image, but it sums up my unpleasant afternoon.
