Local Knowledge!

We walked from Greenwich to North Greenwich and chanced upon Mary and we got chatting as we were both taking photos of various bits. 

Mary is an Archeologist returned to this part of London to look after her Mum and she was telling me all about the history of the Enderbys and the Atlantic Cable.     It made our walk so much more interesting learning more about the local area from someone who lived there.
