Porty People and Places

Running on the sun drenched beach this morning in tee shirt and shorts it really did feel like summer had finally arrived.

These abandoned, legless, sunglasses were propped up on the gabion.

After a long weekend  disconnected from the world wide web there was much work related activity to catch up on today. 

By lunchtime, as the news was dominated by soaring temperatures in the balmy south, a cold chill was blowing in off the North Sea and by this evening it was a cool and cloudy  17 degrees!

No need for sunglasses at all!
