Mercury Rising

It has definitely been scorchio today as forecast. The column of mercury on this old maximum minimum thermometer, of which we used to have many in the glasshouses, is a bit compromised but nevertheless it recorded conditions that made MrQ and me relax and not achieve much.

We had a celebratory BBQ this evening with bubbly. Guests were Jazzy dog and Blackie. See extra photos. :)
