Out of the woods

Nimes

Today was all about road tripping - we went to Nimes to see the Roman heritage of this town. I loved the narrow streets and little shops and the exterior of the Temple. But sorry that one can´t see the interior though. Farther on, the amphitheater which is the best preserved in the world, was impressive - and I was really disappointed to find out that some French singer was giving a concert there in the evening which meant that it was closed for visitors. It was spectacular none the less.
Seeing Lars fullfil his boyhood dream to see the aqueducts at Pont du Gard was a chapter for itself. The first thing he said was: This is so much better than Stonehenge. See his blip for his story
