The new classroom

Today we installed 8 out of the 23 benches that will make the new outdoor classroom in Barnetts Woods Nature Reserve. We used rabbit spades ( see foreground) to dig holes deep enough for the posts you can see behind Sarah our work experience student. She is checking the bench is level while Nick "tamps"  the ground back in using a "tamper".  Very physical work today, beats going to the gym.
