Foggy bottom

After yesterday's heat and the night's ridiculous furnace (maybe my face caught the sun) with wet flannels and strange dreams the morning brought rolling fog, thunder and disappointingly sparse rain.

Stung by the potato blight I built a brassica cage determined to beat pigeons and butterflies and bring in a bountiful crop of January King, Kohl Rabi and Kale. I transplanted Palla Rossa and wondered if the new fence was a blessing in disguise.

Lamb chops on the barbie in the sticky cool heat at the end of the day. Glad to see Operation Stack is moving, slowly.
