Gayer-Walker House (1886-1869)
William A. Gwyer Esquire, built the rear portion of the house in the late 1860's.  The front section was built by James Walker, contractor and builder.  This property, located at 302 2nd Street, was once owned by Marmaduke Jones, Attorney General and member of the King;s Counsel in 1750.  Cast-iron work was added by Dr. Joseph Pawlik, the owner since 1991.
