Happiness is….

having fun with your cousin.  Today we took Moira and her cousin, Kara, to our favorite park to play on the playground and take a nature walk.  The girls really enjoyed their time on the playground.  After they were pretty hot and sweaty, we took off for the coolness of walking on the boardwalk and climbing the observation tower to check out the birds.  We saw several Ospreys, but no Spoonbills.  Moira was very disappointed that Kara didn't get to see the pink birds!  It was very cute to see them try to read all the nature signs along the boardwalk.  They were very observant and tried hard to find things.  But it just was too hot!  All the birds, bugs and animals were hiding.  So we packed it up and spent several hours cooling off in the pool.  It was a happy day for these two little girls.  If you want to see more of the day check out the flicker pictures.
