The local squirrels from the warehouse eaves are using the dying ivy to clamber up and steal the nuts from my bird feeder - two storeys up!

Mr. Nutkin is indeed intrepid and impertinent, even getting his brother Twinkleberry in on the act, but it's the gulls and not the old owl that they should look out for.
