Scuba try out in the pool

Fred's got a scuba try in the pool this morning just to have a go with the equipment. It's only quick but she gets on fine. For some reason scuba doesn't have the same appeal to her as the free diving but perhaps she can give it a go another time. All these hobbies are expensive!

In the afternoon we get some snorkels and masks and head out to practice our duck diving. We find a buoy just where the sea begins to get deep and spend a couple of hours taking it in turns. It's hard work but we both do the odd good one and get down a few meters. It's good to practice our equalization going head first too. We're both tired afterwards and have blocked ears so decide to give it a rest tomorrow. We did see a little turtle swimming by which was cool as Fred's not seen them.snorkelling before.

We start to make plans about moving on as we're in danger of staying here until the end of our trip. We do love it here though :-)
