Lanterns...

I escaped for the day and went for a wander round Manchester. There was so much going on with all the building. The Northern Powerhouse isn't going to be built in a day!

Of course, Manchester isn't just a commercial powerhouse these days, it's a cultural one as well. The Manchester International Festival is underway. So I went to the Festival Hub in Albert Square where all kinds of things were going on. I do hope, once their dedicated building that's going to be built is up and running, they continue to have the hub in Albert Square. It was busy this afternoon with people enjoying the vibe.

I liked the lanterns in the teepee.
