The way we were

I miss these terraced houses. Most of them were replaced by blocks of flats in the 70s and 80s.
Now only a few of them remain in the area where I used to live as a young teenager.
Perhaps the houses were cold, uncomfortable and cheaply made. But they surely looked nicer than the blocks that surround them.
