Airborne

I love poppies but rarely photograph them. Much like dandelion clocks being blown by wistful-looking women or small children,  I think these very frequently photographed subjects require a certain level of skill and creativity to bring something fresh to a popular field.  However, the tractor at the farm today had a small clump of poppies and grasses in its lifted hopper. They didn't seem to notice the absence of soil and were blooming beautifully. So here you are. Have a wonderful weekend.
