Ladybird

It's refreshing to learn something new, I find.  Spotted a bush absolutely smothered in what looked like weird looking ladybirds. We speculated that they might be some of the killer ladybirds that are allegedly sweeping the country. 
A quick google revealed that this is a stage of the ladybird lifecycle; well, I'll be jiggered.
