A Rose called Handel

This beautiful climbing rose is called Handel and the scent it has is simply wonderful.
It's my granddaughters 14th birthday today, where have all those years gone.   She is quite the 'grown up' now, doing really well in school, has strong values, a wicked sense of humour and an 'interesting' sense of fashion.   A daughter and granddaughter who we are all very proud of.

We had an addition to the next generation yesterday when my sisters granddaughter produced a 9lb 3oz baby girl who they have called Amelia.    Congratulations to Hayley and Chris.  Yes, that makes me a great, great aunt to baby Amelia!!!
