an unusual visitor ...

well I found this on a chair in my sun room today ???
never seen in the garden ... where did it come from ?!?!?
after much thought and all the rest I remembered hubby had been in there ten minutes before me having come in from his veg plot at the front of the house and think it must have come in on his clothes...
so today we have a :-
Common Green Grasshopper
[  omecestus vindulus  ]
A common species in grassy areas.
The adult females are green along the top of the head and pronutum though can be green, brown or even bright purple elsewhere...
