Don't think I've seen these before.

Another day of trying not to cook.  It was stupidly hot again today.  The temperature on the patio (in the shade) was around just shy of 43°C, or 109 of your Fahrenheits.

So I've been drinking water a lot.  And after the extravagance of the Lime juice from yesterday, I tried a Cranberry syrup today.  Do not make the same mistake.  It coated my mouth with a very artificial tasting film.  Very unpleasant.

Our hopes were raised late this afternoon as we saw a couple of lashes of lightning.  Alas, the storms dwindled to nothing and we continued to cook.

It seems to be party central around here tonight.  At least 4 of our neighbours are out grillen (Barbecuing) and 2 of the groups have actually got dressed up for it.

It's way too hot to be out wearing a shirt though.
