Ghost duck

It was a very hot day, about 40°C.
We tried to hold the house cool by closing all shutters. It was a busy day and I couldn't stay a lot inside.
While I was whatching the lights and reflections coming through the shutters, suddenly the ghost duck appeared. She quaked three times, then she vanished. That was scary ...or was it simply too hot ;-)  ???
