Lavender-tastic

Went for a beautiful sunny walk with Tim and our friend Richard in the Kent countryside - our usual route, starting out from Ightham Mote - except this time, for the first time ever, it coincided with the lavender being out in full force.  I took many photos, as you can imagine, but Tim helped me choose this one (rather than one looking along the rows).  We both thought the little clumps of white looked a bit like clouds in a blue sky :)

Stopped at the Ightham Mote coffee shop for a quick coffee/hot chocolate afterwards, then we headed home.  Tim watched the British Grand Prix in the afternoon, and I gave our kitchen a much-needed clean.  Had a nice relaxed evening and watched another episode of Humans - brilliant!
