Juvenile

Juvenile Green Woodpecker photographed this morning through our (dirty) kitchen window. (The window cleaner is well overdue .  .  .).  He/she was preening up after a bath in our water feature.
 
Taking all into account, including camera shake and grey sky it hasn’t worked out to bad.
 
Spent the day with further erections on the playing field including a near total disaster when the last marquee decided it was a kite as we were putting it up.  No one hurt I’m pleased to say.
 
The big day tomorrow (Rippingale Feast) so hopefully I’ll get one or two blip worthy shots and catch up with commenting later – sorry I’m a little behind, thanks for all your un-answered comments and stars over the last day or so.
