Progress...

Poorly camera is now better and on the way back I stopped for lunch in St Andrew Square. In the middle of the square is a large statue called the Melville Monument. I'd never read the inscription until today and it was apparently constructed with the first ever iron balance crane that was invented by Robert Stevenson. It now seems that Edinburgh can't get enough of cranes and there is a new one popping up nearly every day ruining the view of the city - maybe one day we'll stop building for a few days and make the city look better.
