Usurper

This is Basil's cushion, but that's not Basil. That's Jerry, one of the two cats belonging to my son George.

He and Ben are staying with us over the weekend while George and Kat take a few days away in the southwest.

Basil is not too non-plussed. He has come to one of his other favourite places. The bed in the spare room.

I think it's time I took him out for a walk which I haven't done for the last few days because of the heat. Open Gardens in Shepshed today sounds appealing.
