Glacier de l'A Neuve, from la Fouly

A gentle stroll along the Sentier du Champignon & the Val Ferret today.
Once the English contingent had finished bickering over the picnic (1hr!!!, then they bought pre-made, cellophane sandwiches) we got underway (big "thank heavens" for the Scots, Americans and Canadian) and thankfully it was a little cooler at around the 28degC mark. We stopped for lunch at Planereuse and 7 of us enjoyed a selection of  local cheeses, wood smoked ham and venison saucisson (* can u tell I like my local food, lol*).
A little more ascent saw us early into La Fouly and out onto the verandah to drink in this view and iced panache.
