When packing the car, noted the wagtail a few metres away behaving very strangely. It sat in a small hole in the ground (like a dugout) and kept its mouth open. Perhaps it was suffering from the heat. When I went closer to examine, it flew away - so nothing critical, fortunately.

As an extra the shot I took at 4:45 in the morning of the moon. One can see it waning, check the right-hand edge.
