Bee-eater Painting

This afternoon Wendy (our back yard neighbor) gave us a quick tour (our first!) of her big new house. This is the dining "nook" off one end of the sumptuous kitchen, with a painting of bee-eaters from Africa. In the foreground is Ashton (their youngest) with his current favorite car, which he carried with us everywhere (except on the stairs, when he handed it to one of us; here he is with his two brothers).

The house is quite marvelously designed and decorated, generally in simple, low-key fashion. Here's a blip of it under construction, and another one much more recent.
