Smoke in the sky

There are over 180 wild fires burning around the province now, and much of  the province has extreme fire hazard conditions.   We still have smoke in the sky, and there are particles of ash on the outdoor table.   No rain in the forecast any time soon.
Thankfully there aren't any fires on this island yet - at least, not that I've heard of.   Such unusual and scary conditions.
