Welcome home roses.

So, I thought I better spruce the place up a bit before my wife returned on Saturday. Pushed the vacuum around, cleared a mountain of laundry, washed just about every bowl, dish and cutlery item we own (how did they accumulate??), and then whipped up the road for flowers and a vase (which turned out way to big for the flowers - hmmm, its been a while).
And so today, the roses are still looking ok, and made today's blip.
Queen's Birthday holiday today (thank you your majesty) - it's non-stop rain outside, and a good day to stay in.
