Delft

We had a walk along to Keizerstraat, a pedestrianised shopping street in Scheveningen, and then along the beach to the harbour. We then got a tram and went over to Delft for lunch. My lunch was a slightly unconventional strawberries and cream with mini pancakes.

The weather was cool and blustery with quite heavy rain showers.

At breakfast I was relieved to find that despite the change of ownership champagne is still available with breakfast. I used to live next door to the hotel, many of the restaurants have changed since then. This evening we went to an Indian restaurant which I think was here in my time, but which I had never been to previously.
