THE BEFORE & AFTER JOB

A guy brought in this absolutely disgusting Framus 12-string. He explained that it belonged to his girlfriend's father who recently succeeded in smoking himself to death.

When I first saw it I thought it must have been hanging up in the "Smoker's Union" bar - but no - apparently he did it single-handed - at home.

Bravo!!

The poor daughter had the job of clearing out & cleaning up dad's tar/nicotine varnished house. Unbeknown to her, the boyfriend snuck away with the guitar & brought it to us with the hope that we'll be able to restore it to cleanliness & Godliness playableness so he'll be able to present the girlfriend with something clean & sweet-smelling which her nicotine dad had loved. Apparently he's preparing a song or two before he hands it over!

Seems like a worthwhile project to me :o)
