Day 2

While watching this game received a text from United Airlines (I knew it could not be good…) saying our flight from Norfolk to Chicago had been cancelled.  We were re-routed through Newark (the airport I try to avoid due to past experiences) with an overnight layover in Newark before the 6 am flight to Chicago and on to Winnipeg.  A bit of an inconvenience but everything worked out.  When traveling now I expect delays.  Makes it easier to deal with when they happen.  Glad we were able to get to Winnipeg before the games.  We had tickets for soccer games starting at 3 pm…We arrived at noon.
