After a morning of domesticity, which included making some broccoli and stilton soup from leftovers, i had the same choice as a few days ago …… watch Andy Murray play tennis or go out. 

Not wanting to post a blip of the tv set, the decision was made easier.  I drove to Bowness but it was very busy and I couldn’t get parked. Instead I went back to Millerground where i’d noticed some spaces.

There was a group on the lake learning to windsurf …… well that’s what I assumed as they spent more time in the water than on their boards. Managed to catch 2 upright with a view of the Langdale fells beyond.
