Kelpies...

..finally, we visited The Kelpies. 

So great to see them in big, massive 30m high real life.  They have been blipped many, many times but I decided one more couldn't hurt.  Well two more, the extra is of Kelpie I photo bombing Kelpie II, also, just to prove we had a blue glorious sky! Along with most of the rest of the country, it was indeed the hottest, sunniest day of the year so far.  

We also saw a guy with a real parrot on his arm that he occasionally would thrust up into the air to let it fly about while he ran alongside.  It was on a retractable dog lead - a most bizarre sight! Almost as unusual as 24 degs C in Scotland :-)
We wandered around the whole Helix park area, really great use of what was probably dead, industrial land next to the motorway. Sadly the water play area with fountains etc wasn't working - bloody typical!

Day one of P being home for a week. Back Blipping from the future again - one of eight!!!
