Happiness Barometer.....Chinese style!

Well, I like an odd Margaret River red or white, I am happily hitched, and I love gardening. Seems I have the happiness thing covered according to the Chinese philosopher.

Had a lovely wintery visit to the Providore organic vegetable gardens and food store this afternoon at Wilyabrup (Margaret River). Said hello to the free range chooks in their huge pen, who were delightfully preoccupied scratching for bugs and worms in the dark rich soil, and took some colourful fotos of the mandarins ready to be picked. Have added these fotos as extras. Quite a gourmet afternoon as we have a nice local roast in the oven and currently enjoying in front of the fire, a "Snake and Herring - Open Road - Pinot Noir" from the Great Southern region of WA.

Winter is very nice down here even in the school hols!

Won't mention the cricket (unless a better day today)!
