Almost but not quite

Some shots are good but not good enough for publishing so I thought I'd post on blip one such image. 

I took it this morning whilst testing out a new lens. I did get some nice shots of some of the birds visiting our garden, one of which I attach as an extra photo but I actually like this image. It was closer to what I was trying to achieve but just failed to get the sharpness I was looking for. 

Oh well another time!
