A Plumstead Thumper

This splendid  Matchless Motorcycle turned up at Llandow  this morning.
 It is a 1953 Matchless G80  CS 500cc  single,    CS stood for competition special as the bike was made for racing.   
Matchless motorcycles were manufactured in Plumstead London  between 1899 and 1966.
